Adam Crossley is Director of Environment for Skanska UK, responsible for environment and community investment across all UK operations, as well as playing a lead role in Skanska’s business ethics initiatives. Adam joined Skanska in 2007 as Training and Development Manager, and has since held a number of different roles including Business Improvement Manager, Programme Manager on the National Grid North London Gas Alliance, and more recently Business Transformation Director in Skanska’s Utilities business. Before joining Skanska, Adam spent four years in the 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery with whom he served in Afghanistan and trained in Belize and Kazakhstan. In 2012, Adam took a year’s sabbatical to study for a master’s degree in cognitive anthropology at Oxford University. Adam is also Chair of Trustees for The Sophie Hayes Foundation, a charity he helped to found which supports survivors of human trafficking and modern day slavery.
