This is an evolving situation and we are continuing to follow Government and Public Health England advice so that we can monitor and respond accordingly.
This page will be updated regularly should anything change. We are also sending out emails to parents at both schools, please check your inbox regularly.
If you have any concerns about your health in relation to Coronavirus please follow Public Health England advice and contact NHS 111. Please regularly check the advice on the gov.uk website regarding travel. The NHS has some comprehensive advice on what to do if you feel unwell and what to do on their website.
DfE have launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:
Phone: 0800 046 8687
Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
What measures are in place to try to protect people on your campus from the virus?
We have reviewed our cleaning schedule and the products used, to ensure that we have a high level of service and disinfection. We are monitoring soap and sanitiser dispensers to ensure these are well stocked for effective hand washing. We also have hand sanitiser points available at key points across the school.
To help students, staff and visitors we have posters around the school giving advice on what do to if there are any concerns as well as posters showing effective hand washing at all our hand basins.
How can I protect myself from Coronavirus?
We can all play our part. To protect yourself and others, basic hygiene such as washing our hands regularly and using tissues when we cough and sneeze is the best way to slow the spread of germs and infection. Posters are around our school giving advice on hand washing and good hygiene for staff, students and visitors.
